Looks like the water temps are on their way up and the fishing seems to be following that upward movement. Lots of drum (oversized) are being caught from the local fishing piers along the Intralcoastal Canal on crabs and sealice. There have been trout showing up in the regular spring pattern areas on both soft plastics and live shrimp. The numbers and sizes of the trout seems to be getting better the warmer the water gets.

Although the shrimp haven't started moving, it shouldn't be long. As long as we can keep the wind out of the south the water temps should continue to rise......

Water conditions are good in both the Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay.
